Leafline Co. was founded in 2008 by Elena Marsh and Tomás Reyes — two landscape architects who met while studying at UC Santa Barbara and shared an obsession with the ecology of coastal California. They launched the studio with a belief that Santa Barbara's gardens should reflect Santa Barbara's environment: vibrant, drought-tolerant, layered, and full of life.
Eighteen years later, we've completed over 1,200 projects across the metro area — from modest backyard refreshes in Beaverton to multi-acre estate gardens in Lake Oswego. Our team has grown to 22, but every project still gets the same personal attention Elena and Tomás put into those first gardens.
We hold Oregon CCB license #225847, carry $2M in general liability insurance, and are active members of the Oregon Association of Nurseries. Our crew includes two certified arborists and three ASLA-accredited landscape architects.
